Die kliniese verpleegspesialis, met haar gevorderde kennis en kliniese vaardighede het noodsaaklik geword om by die Suid-Afrikaanse gesondheidsbeleid, tegnologiese vooruitgang en die veranderende omgewing waarin die vroedvrou moet praktiseer, aan te pas.
